Andrew Hewitt is available for lessons at his home in Penrith in Western Sydney or across the internet via Skype or Zoom. He teaches from 11:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday for people who are serious about learning to play drums.
Andrew was recently acknowledged for his teaching in Dom Famularo's Worldwide Drum Teacher List in Modern Drummer magazine.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's abilities. Andrew teaches a range of students from absolute beginners to players on an intermediate level.
Students with disabilities are most welcome.
Andrew's studio is wheelie friendly.
Lessons with Andtrew are charged at $65 per hour for either in-house or via Skype or Zoom. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or a full lesson will be charged..
For Skype and Zoom lessons, you will need a good internet connection, a webcam, headset mic and your own drum set of course.
NDIS: Recipients of the National Disability Insurance Scheme can claim drum lessons if they are PLAN or SELF managed.
Andrew only has one rule when teaching... The word CAN’T stays outside the front door.
