In January 2016, Andrew and Jenn travelled to the USA again to attend The NAMM Show from 21st - 24th January at the Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. The purpose was for Andrew to network with industry peers and build up momentum for Can-Do Musos.
Can-Do Musos presented a panel discussion and performance at TEC Tracks on the 24th January at 3pm.
On the night of Monday 25th January, Andrew went into LA Rehearsal Music Studios on Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood with Brandon Mendenhall and Nate Stockton from Los Angeles Hard Rock band The Mendenhall Experiment for a jam. Brandon has Cerebral Palsy, and Nate is deaf. Was a really fun evening jamming some cool riffs.
Andrew & Jenn were able to go to LA thanks to fundraisers run by Can-Do Musos via GoFundMe, donations from The Sessions Panel, a fundraiser/competition courtesy of The Living End & Australasian Music Supplies, and some arts funding through Australia Council for the Arts.
